Biotechathalon – A biology hackathon! Participants will work in small teams with students of any major to develop a plan to tackle a problem presented to them Saturday Morning. On Sunday the teams then present their plans to a panel of judges (including esteemed professors and Biotech industry professionals). Winners will receive a cash prize!
BISP 170 – A class created by BioScholars open for any student to take from UC San Diego during Spring Quarter. Topics are centered around different aspects of biology and various speakers who are experts in the topic are invited to come speak to the class.
Team STEM Outreach – BioScholars partners with the Preuss School in order to create an annual event were BioScholars plan and execute a lesson to teach high schoolers how to read various scientific literature.
